GREEK LOCALIZATION
Odoo runs the business. l10n.gr completes its Greek compliance.
Sales, accounting, inventory, point of sale: it all runs on Odoo. For Greek legal and tax obligations, l10n.gr completes Odoo so they are covered in full.
Why it takes both. Odoo is a global product for dozens of countries, on its own release cycle. A certified e-invoicing provider handles the transmission of documents, but not the full set of Greek obligations, which keep changing: new AADE decisions, new myDATA versions, digital movement, public-sector invoicing. l10n.gr completes Odoo for the Greek market.

Odoo’s defaults are designed for many countries. In some places Greek law sets a different rule, and l10n.gr adjusts the behaviour, with the relevant provision next to each change. A few examples:
- Withholding tax on fees
- Withholdings and stamp duty on public-sector invoices
- VAT reverse charge
- VAT exemption reasons
- myDATA income and expense classifications
- Credit notes linked to the original document
- Delivery notes
- Document series per branch
- Climate resilience fee

FAQ
Questions businesses ask first
01What exactly do we get?
The managed infrastructure your Odoo Enterprise runs on, with the whole l10n.gr suite: e-invoicing and myDATA, accounting books, retail with cards, warehouses and the movement of goods. No server or IT of your own, since hosting, backups and updates are included. The Odoo Enterprise licence is not included: your company holds it in its own name.
02Who implements it?
The Odoo partner you choose. They set Odoo up for the way you work and support you afterwards. The platform and the Greek localization are the same, whoever does the implementation.
03What do we need to get started?
We start with a demo, to see how your business works. The implementation team then sets Odoo up, brings over your data and trains your people. The timeline is agreed based on the scope of the project.
04Which e-invoicing provider do we use?
We work with two certified e-invoicing providers today, with more being added. The provider is set per company, and changing it does not affect any document already issued.
05What happens when the legislation changes?
When AADE issues a new decision that concerns the suite, we build it in, and the AADE tables update from the screen, with no developer needed. You keep working without waiting for an upgrade.
06What if the provider does not respond?
You keep issuing as normal. The document is transmitted as soon as the connection is back, with the same number, exactly as the law provides for.
07Does our accountant work in it too?
Yes. ΕΓΛΣ or ΕΛΠ chart, a Greek-style trial balance in Excel, a VAT return reconciled with AADE code by code, and 200+ help articles in Greek.
08How is it priced?
A fixed price per project for the whole suite and the resources of your server, with no charge per document. Document volume is agreed directly with your certified e-invoicing provider. For pricing, talk to us.
